We worked with our friends at Born Design on the new brand identity for The Handmade Pie and Ale House. The Weymouth based company, who already supply catered pubs with their products, contacted Born about developing and expanding their catering offer and they needed a fresh new logo design to go with it.

For logo design we wanted to captures the character of The Handmade Pie and Ale House while avoiding the usual cliches so often associated with ‘hand-made’ or ‘hands-on’ branding designs. The identity we created balances the traditional nature of the business with a modern graphic feel, using a simple and original style with the illustration and typography.

The great thing about the simplicity of this logo design, is that is can easily applied to literature, packaging, livery and environments in a memorable and contemporary way.
